How to Use

After adding the stylesheet to your HTML, you can apply the font to any element using the CSS property font-family. For example, you can apply it to the entire page by targeting the body tag.

What is DSans?

DSans is a contemporary, modern font created by me (dmx3377) for use in websites. It is designed with clean, minimalist lines to ensure optimal readability and a sleek, professional appearance on any screen. The font's simplicity and balanced proportions make it versatile for both headlines and body text, providing a cohesive and stylish feel to any web project.

License Agreement

This license is VERY IMPORTANT and MUST BE READ.

This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legally binding contract between you, the end-user, and David Maj, the creator of the DSans font. By downloading, installing, or using the DSans font, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this license.

This license governs the use of the font software known as "DSans" (hereafter referred to as "the Font"). The Font is the intellectual property of David Maj. This agreement grants you specific rights to use the Font and also outlines the restrictions on its use. Please read this document in its entirety before using the Font.

Upon your acceptance of this EULA, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the DSans font for personal and non-commercial use only.

Personal and Non-Commercial Use

is defined as any use that is not intended for or directed towards commercial advantage or private monetary compensation. Examples of permitted Personal and Non-Commercial Use include, but are not limited to:

Creating personal documents such as letters, resumes, and school assignments.
Designing personal, non-commercial websites and blogs, provided they do not generate income or promote a business, unless the business is a non-profit or registered charity, which then use is permitted.
Creating personal, non-commercial social media graphics and posts
Use in non-commercial artistic and design projects for personal portfolios

Any use of the Font that is not expressly permitted as "Personal and Non-Commercial Use" is strictly prohibited. Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to:

Commercial Use: You may not use the Font in any product, service, or project that is intended for or results in commercial gain. This includes, but is not limited to, logos, branding, advertising, marketing materials, merchandise, and any other work created for a business or commercial entity; unless the business is a non-profit or registered charity, which then use is permitted.
Embedding: You may not embed the Font in any application, software, or electronic document that allows for the extraction or use of the Font by unlicensed third parties.
Redistribution: You may not sell, lease, sublicense, lend, or otherwise distribute the Font to any third party without prior permission from DMx Software, or David Maj himself.
Modification: You may not modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on the Font without prior written consent from David Maj.
Server Use: You may not install the Font on a server that allows for use by individuals who are not licensed or covered under this EULA.

Commercial use of the DSans font is strictly prohibited without obtaining a separate commercial license from the creator, David Maj. This does not include non-profits or registered charities, if you are one, use is permitted for any purpose. The terms of any commercial use will be outlined in a separate written agreement.

Commercial use of the DSans font may be chargeable.

The DSans font and the design of the typeface embodied therein are the exclusive intellectual property of David Maj. All rights, title, and interest in and to the Font, including all copyrights and other intellectual property rights, are retained by David Maj. This license does not grant you any ownership rights to the Font.

Disclaimer of Warranty:
The DSans font is provided "as is," WITHOUT WARRANTY of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement of copyright, patent, trademark, or other right. In no event shall David Maj, DMx Software or related entities be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability, including any general, special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of the use or inability to use the Font, or from other dealings in the Font.

This EULA is effective until terminated. This license will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must immediately cease all use of the Font and destroy all copies of the Font in your possession.

This EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which David Maj resides, (in this case, the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland) without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
